In 1895 in Czechoslovakia, two keen bike riders, Vaclav Laurin and Vaclav Klement, designed and produced their own bicycle. Their organization became Skoda in 1925. In 1991 Skoda became organization partner of Volkswagen due to the reputation pertaining to strength.
