Projects and the Management: A Literature Review

Over the years and more notably in the recent past tasks have been utilized as a delivery mechanism to do business and complete objectives. No wonder it has become one of the fastest growing professions in the world. Although the comprehension of what creates a project and what won't continues to be a subject of issue. This paper attempts to provide literature search on what is a job, its classification, characteristics, its life circuit, phases, equipment etc .

Many of us is a director of projects! From a residence wife to a production worker to economic analyst, via banker to physician, by engineer to administrator, coming from teacher to student, many of us work on different tasks with deadlines. Regardless of our occupation, discipline, or perhaps location in an organization, many of us work on tasks that are unique and require people who tend not to usually communicate. The project may have got a simple goal that does not need many persons or a lot of money, or it may be quite complex, asking for diverse skills and many solutions. But the bottom line is that most people manages projects! 1 . What is a Project?
While there are several meanings of jobs in the literature, one of the best has become offered by Tuman (1983), who have states:
" A project is an organization of people dedicated to a specific purpose or objective. Jobs generally involve large, expensive, unique, or high risk undertakings which have to get completed with a certain day, for a certain quantity of money, with some expected level of performance. (4) A limited budget
Diallo & Thuillier (2003) analyzed the task management materials outlined some evaluation proportions which seem regularly while not with the same occurrence:
(1) Respect to the three classic constraints
(2) Satisfaction with the client
(3) Satisfaction with the objectives while outlined in the logical structure (4) Project impacts
(5) Institutional or organizational capacity constructed in the organization by project (6) Financial earnings (in the case of fruitful projects) or perhaps the economic or social benefits (in the case of general public sector projects), and
(7) Project ground breaking features (outputs, management or design) three or more
